I think God's hand was working at a very peculiar time today. For DG we were gonna have a girls' night out, and we decided to go to Satay by the Bay. I went to a bus stop at Marina Bay to wait for a shuttle bus, and it took so long to come (~25 mins), yes call me impatient. Anyway, the bus was taking way too long and I decided that maybe I should take a cab instead. At that instant easily 6 or 7 free cabs came by, and though I flagged for them frantically none of them stopped. I felt a bit put off by that, but then a few seconds later the shuttle bus came. The first thing that came to mind was: wow God that was pretty cool. Then I realised that that was probably one of the smallest things He could do to remind me of His sovereignty, and that He sees the bigger picture and knows the best timing for everything. And even though it may seem like we're put off because we don't get what we want, God is at work to give us the best things, in His own perfect timing.

That got me thinking about something else that happened today, something that confused me in my decision-making for university, again. God put something back into my life when I thought I was through with it, and that was the determining factor for going to the school I previously decided on. I think God was telling me to take a leap of faith, to trust that He's got me in His arms, and whatever happens will be according to His glorious plan for me. So after my interview on Wednesday and Thursday, I will take that leap. And trust God's perfect timing.
